Mint Cocoa Greens Smoothie
Everybody loves mint chocolate chip, even little kids! Therefore, although this recipe is packed with greens, your taste buds will never know! Plus, you can feed your kids a dose of greens in a healthy smoothie they will definitely want again. Check out the recipe to crafting this gorgeously green, minty fresh, cozy cocoa smoothie!

- 1 cup of almond milk (unsweetened, sweetened, or chocolate flavored)
- 1 cup of water (optional)
- 1 cup of spinach or kale or both
- 6-8 mint leaves or as many as desired
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp of raw cocoa powder (or small packet of cocoa flavored protein/nutritional powder)
- optional cocoa nibs for topping
Tools:
- high powered blender such as the Vitamix
Directions:
- First pour in the liquids.
- Then, add the greens and cocoa powder.
- Finally, top with frozen bananas and blend!
- Taste test for right amount of mint and cocoa. If perfect, top with cocoa nibs and enjoy.

- You might want to slowly add mint leaves in case they are too strong for you!
- Also, add a tbsp of coconut oil for added creaminess!
